I fell in love with music in the 80’s. That was kind of hard to do because a lot of music in that era was astoundingly shit.

Sure you look back now and the kitsch has charm and the hits are all anyone remembers. The 80’s almost killed music, let’s not recall them quite so fondly.

Despite the plastic pop, novelty singles and shady types filling the airwaves there was the rare crack of light to save the Seekers from getting ‘Lost In The Supermarket’.

I’ve been a paid up disciple of rock and roll music ever since that dodgiest of decades. From the highs of Britpop to the lows on Nu Metal.
